• Sugar Free Guilt Free Mojito Recipe

    If you’re looking for a sugar free alternative for a little Mother's Day treat, this one is one of our favourites (we're still trying to get off the sugar after over indulging over Easter!) It is made with vodka instead of rum and rice malt syrup instead of sugar and is absolutely delicious.

    - ½ Lime cut into quarters
    - 6 to 8 fresh mint leaves
    - Crushed ice
    - 1 teaspoon rice malt syrup
    - 1 nip of Lime flavoured vodka (don't have lime flavoured vodka? Try adding 4 drops of pure lime oil to your 750ml bottle of vodka and shake)
    - Lime flavoured sugar free soda water (we like Schweppes)
    - Berries for garnish

    1. Place the quarter cut lime pieces and mint leaves in the bottom of a glass.
    2. Crush the lime and mint 5 times with a muddle or the end of a rolling pin.
    3. Add the teaspoon of rice malt syrup and stir.
    4. Fill the glass 2/3 full with crushed ice and top up with soda. Stir gently.
    5. Fill to the top with more soda.
    Feel free to adjust the recipe according to taste. Like things a little sweeter, add a little more syrup. Enjoy a citrus kick, up the lime and mint.
    Makes one glass.
