  • Orange and White Chocolate Pretzels

Hoppy Easter!!!!!! We hope the bunny has been kind but just in case he went a bit Mental!!!!
If you find that you have bucket loads of chocolate in the house and children that constantly nag you with “I’m hungry”, this easy trick is for you. These are delicious and are a little more biscuit than chocolate.
    What you will need:
    - 1 or 2 drops pure orange oil depending on how many
    you have the chocolate for.
    - Some white chocolate, you can use Easter eggs or.
    block chocolate.
    - 1 bag of Pretzels
    Method:
    1. Place a piece of wax paper on a chopping board.
    2. Place white chocolate in a microwavable container. Microwave the mixture on high for 30 seconds. Stir and, if needed, continue to cook for 15 seconds at a time until the chocolate is melted.
    3. Add the pure orange essential oil.
    4. Working quickly, use kitchen tongs to dip one pretzel at a time into the melted chocolate. Cover the pretzels completely with chocolate, or cover only half of the pretzel for a distinctive look (that also lets people know what's under the chocolate and is ideal for party presentations).
    5. Place the dipped pretzels on the prepared work surface. The chocolate will cool and dry onto the pretzels quickly. Dip as many pretzels as you have chocolate. Allow all of the chocolate-covered pretzels to dry (this typically takes less than an hour) before storing in a cool, dry place in an airtight covered container with parchment paper or wax paper between each layer of pretzels.
    6. This recipe also works well with Dark or milk chocolate.
    • You might want to put the freshly made white chocolate-covered pretzels into the refrigerator to firm up the chocolate so it is cool or room temperature when it is time to serve.
